our education being inferior to our forebears, worsening with successive generation, we cannot write as they do, think as they do, speak as they did. i compare myself to thoreau, in less than 200 years, we have deteriorated to become desperate, decrepit in our expressions. i feel he had much greater courage than i can ever muster, living out his purpose. reading smithsonian magazine, browsing through titles with brief descriptions are unforgivable writing mistakes. my children have greater facility of expression than ever to commit such blatant errors. how did that get printed anyhow if it was not caught in editing? the articles are prosaic, trying to relive something that is dead. i find better, bristling, spirited writings but they must be older, beyond 1950’s, when general populace was better educated. today, i doubt too many have capacity for such reading. most text have to be dumbed down for people to comprehend. deep conversations are rare indeed.
there is a certain vibrancy, sparkle, liveliness in older writings, profound writings must be ancient. those claiming enlightenment these days are but mere conceptions of elaborate fabrication, some ethereal thing when it is really Simple. AB’s Will Is For every one to Know Truth AS IS, This Is LIFE, Changeless, Eternal, Perpetual. to know Truth In Relationship, Friendship is our Purpose In LIFE, to seek this Connection With LIFE GIVER is our inherent Drive, Motivation in Worship. like all living things, we are made to seek Light, Truth, LIFE. i do not know of any living plant or animal that seeks the dark naturally. with Given Gift Of LIFE, our inclination is toward LIFE, Health, Wholeness, Soundness. even the sick, dying seek LIFE after living decades in decay. death is not sought naturally except in extreme desperation to effect relief, only it is the wrong Answer, Solution, End. i do not know that it solves anything consequentially, it is a giving up on LIFE, losing trust, faith, belief, but in the very end, it is still that struggle with LIFE, to end it. that is a hard thing.
