prayer 2.17.15

awaken early to have time for prayer, study in Word Of LIFE, sharing before meeting dr. baylac’s team in kapoho today, to learn what they do there.  i feel grateful for opportunity.  revising again some prayers, taking out sting from writing that reflected poorly Reality.  when hurt is felt, things tend to get skewed as we contract in anguish, thus Healing, Restoration, avails more Balanced View that conforms to Truth.

with public sharing is responsibility for truthful expression, communication.  if objective is Truth Seeking, Truth Living, Truth sharing, then it can only be Truth that is proclaimed, anything other than Truth will be falsehood and that i leave behind, discard, refuse.  i desire Clarity, Authenticity, Genuine Principle, Reality AS IS, Substance, Fact.

trellising two thriving tomato vines with kids using weathered tree branches tied together in teepee fashion was fun, enjoyable, productive.  one cherry, one mazano, one under green house tent not yet fruiting, all volunteers.  with drought, i learnt compost high in humus content retains moisture significantly.  one compost container in front yard without coir fibers took longer to break down.  collected in large 40 gallon planter helps contain the material, it consequently also retain moisture.  this one was filled with red earth worms, sprouting organic dates, melon plant, thriving, alive, growing.

the other in the back filled with weeds only, also broke down, turned upside down covered in container for use later.  the third next to goat house we sprinkle with coir fiber.  i have seen this method encourage black soldier fly larvae that speeds up decomposition even greater, faster, warmer than earthworms.  where there are the soldiers, there are no worms.  they seem to stay away from each other’s domain to work on different habitats.  the key thus to moisture retention is addition, incorporation of organic matter.

conservation is care taken in utilization of resources, be it abundant or not.  in drought with no rainfall, keeping used water from kitchen and bath for watering plants entail greater attention, thought, devotion for the sake of preserving, sustaining plant life.  i feel plants know our care and show appreciation in fruitfulness, when we attend in rightful, proper nurturance for growth.  any attention rendered returns in a thousand fold.

last evening we harvested dried pods from pigeon pea bush now almost twice my height!  the soft, willowy stems bloomed, fruited, displaying many bunching hands of seeds rattling in pods of three to six.  we gathered every ripe pod, enjoying sound of maracas as each branch was picked clean, lest nature think us ungrateful to not like her produce.  we sitting side by side on round table husking, each pod popped and shelled, peas emptied, collected, cleaned, revealing a bountiful harvest indeed along with some tomatoes from the vines.

i feel grateful for these fruits that emerge, how amazing is each program expressed even under adverse conditions and care.  such is AB’s Graciousness to us, giving back manifold with minimal input!  i feel encouraged to give even more because AB Is Merciful to me, thus in Word Of LIFE, written in gospel of john says:  we love AB because AB First LOVED us.  i find this to be True indeed.  how else could we learn Perfect LOVE if not from Source And GIVER OF LOVE?
